Died, Mrs. Martha Eliza Reeves at her home, four miles southwest of village of Pinckney, April 13, 1885 age 72. Born in Orange County N.Y., Aug. 31, 1813 and married George Reeves of Orange Co. Feb. 6, 1832; They moved to Michigan in 1836 and following year settled on place here where they both lived till death. George passing away in 1877. Brought up a large family with eight children left. Three daughters and two sons live nearby and three daughters live in Bay City. Funeral at home and burial in village cemetery.
