Temperance - John Farnham Scott, a resident of Hickory Ridge in Temperance, MI, died November 11, 2021 of congestive heart failure. He was born on August 4, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio. He was the son of Burns Widmer and Valerie Elizabeth Scott. He is survived by his brother Burns Michael and Geneiva R. Scott of Lambertville, Mi. and nephew Michael T. Scott and niece, Adelynn.

John graduated from Bedford High School in 1967, Western Michigan Univ., and got his Masters at the Univ. of Michigan. He had the John F. Scott acting award At Bedford named after him. He became an actor; living and making movies and Broadway Shows in New York . He had a beautiful singing voice and excelled on the piano and organ and an amazing intellect (completing the New York Times crossword puzzle in less than three hours).

Visitation will be Tuesday the November, 16th 2021 from 10:00am until 12.00 noon at Ansberg West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave. where services will be conducted at 12:00noon. Burial will take place at Lambertville Cemetery. To send his family online condolences, please visit www.ansberg-west.com.
