Abraham, Peter Richard 1/21/1945 - 10/15/2021 Portage Peter ("Pete") Abraham, 76 years old, of Portage, MI, passed in his sleep on Friday, 10/15/21. Born in Detroit on 1/21/45, he attended East Detrlit High School, Macomb County Community College, and Walsh College where he obtained his business degree. He was in the Army from 1965-1967. He was an usher at St. Monica in Kalamazoo and also a member of The Knights of Columbus. He contributed to many charities and was glad to volunteer when help was needed. He was a devoted fan of the Detroit Red Wings and loved to watch U of M football games. Survived by his wife Susan Abraham, his daughter Katherine Abraham and his sister Betty (Abraham) Grantham. A mass wil be said for him at St. Monica in Kalamazoo on November 21, 2021 at 10 am. He will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek on Monday, November 22nd at noon. Pete was a loving husband, father and friend. We miss you and will always love you, Pete.
