Edward Horace Madison, of Springfield, MA, passed away peacefully at the youthful age of 85 on November 1, 2021, in Moreno Valley, CA.

Edward served our country proudly in the United States Marine Corp and retired after 22 years as a Gunnery Sergeant. Edward loved driving across the country to visit family and friends and attend family reunions. He served as a Deacon at Ajalon Baptist Church in Palm Springs, CA and later, closer to his Moreno Valley residence, he was a Deacon at Park Avenue Baptist church in Riverside, CA.

Edward is survived by his three daughters with the late Anna May Bruce-Madison - Deborah Denise Madison (of Riverside, CA), Dorothy Christine Madison (of Moreno Valley, CA), Jacqueline Helen Madison (of Lima, OH), seven grandchildren, Cheylynda P. Barnard-Jones, Fredric A. Carson, Robert E. Barnes, Garland K. Barnard, Jr, Janessa A. Mendoza, Stephanie R. Barnard, and Gianna O. Mendoza, two brothers David A. Madison (of CT) and Frederick J. Madison (of MA), one sister Alice L. Eady (of MA), and a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends to cherish his memory. He is preceded in death by his Mother Lucy J. (Rigins) Madison, father Edward Madison, brother Lester E. Madison, and sisters Lucille Gray, Mary Ann Wesley, Barbara Jean Gresham, and Cecile Lewis.

Edward was loved by many, the memories of him will be remembered in our hearts forever.
