I, J. Wathen, manager of this memorial, am the niece of Ann. My Momma, Eveleen Doyle Wathen, was Ann's sister.

Cynthia Ann Perkins

A Celebration of Life for Cynthia Ann Perkins will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, November 19, 2021, in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with Reverend Shannon Buxton and Reverend James Vandergriff officiating. Committal service will follow in the Blackjack Cemetery, Pitkin under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexnadria.

Visitation will be held at the White Oaks Memorial Chapel on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday, November 19, 2021, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. in the chapel.

Cynthia, 71, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, to be reunited with her loving husband of 41 years, Charles Perkins. She was born May 25, 1950, in Oakdale, to the union of Frank Doyle, Jr. and Ima Hatch Doyle. She graduated from Plainview High School and worked and retired from Coushatta Casino. Cynthia was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse UPC in Oakdale, Louisiana. She loved the Lord and attending church services.

Cynthia enjoyed being in her garden and nurturing her flowers. Cynthia was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all who had the joy of loving her.

Her parents, Frank and Ima Doyle; her husband, Charles Perkins; one child, Shannon Perkins; and two sisters, Elsie Welch and Eveleen Wathen proceeds her in death.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are one daughter, Christol Perkins-Halvorson of Oakdale; one son, Charles Derek Perkins (Stephanie) of Houston, Tx; two brothers: Elmo Doyle of Plainview and Delmo Doyle of Pine Prairie; five sisters: Grace Welch of Oakdale, Morna Block of Oakdale, Gloria Edenfield of Oakdale, Edith Piper of Monroe, Ella Welch of Oakdale; seven grandchildren: Christopher Perkins, Anthony Perkins, Madison Halvorson, Colyn Halvorson, Jayce Halvorson, Sean Nguyen, Hung Nguyen (Katherine); two bonus grandchildren, Paisley Halvorson and Lainey Halvorson; one great grandchild, Paisley Shannon Perkins; along with a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Ken Perkins, Shane Perkins, Christopher Perkins, Anthony Perkins, Dustin Perkins and Scotty Perkins.
