Ennis Wilson Taylor, Jr., age 73, of Sweetwater, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. He was a native Tennessean, born in Nashville and has lived in Sweetwater for 30 years. He was Vietnam Veteran and was retired, after 25 years, from Cleveland State Community College as Director of Administrative Governmental Services. He was a strong loving man and enjoyed his family, horses and participating in the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ennis W. Taylor, Sr. and Altie Willene Taylor; brother: David Taylor; great- grandson: Lucas Isaiah Morgan
Survivors include best friend and companion of 17 years, Debbie Richesin; best friend of 48 years, Jim Griffin; daughter: Julie Farmer; sons: John and Chad Sprouse; three grandchildren: Kaitlin Morgan, Seth Farmer, Kelsey Farmer; two great- grandchildren: Everly Grace Morgan and Madilynn June Farmer.
Family and friends will meet at 1:45 P.M. at the Sweetwater Memorial Park on Saturday, November 20, 2021 for a 2:00 P.M. graveside service and interment with Jim Griffin officiating. Military honors will be provide by the Sweetwater Gold Star Post 5156, the Monroe County D.A.V. Post 106, and members of the American Legions Post 93.
