Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Augusta Higgs Goose, 68, who died at her home at 910 Washington avenue at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, were held from Compton's chapel at 3 p.m. Wednesday , with Rev. Arthur Stout officiating, burial in Oakwood cemetery. Pallbearers were H.L. White, W.E. Amis, W.M. Moncrief, A.Y. Moorefield, J.M. Norris and T.L. Green. Honorary pallbearers were members of Woodmen of the World. Surviving are her husband, F.G. Goose; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Myrt Estes of Gainesborough, GA: four grandchildren, Ray, Bell, Jack and Charles Estes of Gainesboro. Mrs. Goose was born in Mississippi and had lived in Waco for 23 years.
Daughter of Thomas Higgs and Martha Boon. Sister to John G, Lucy S., Mary K.,Joel, James, William Frank, and Mattie.
