A. Dale Eiceman, 75, of Lebanon, died Thursday, December 13, 2007 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born November 6, 1932 in Lebanon, a son of the late Alton P. and Ethel M. Witmeyer Eiceman.
He was an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ, where he served on Consistory for many years and was available for maintainance of the church facilities. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a retired machinist from Reading Pretzel. He provided his maintainance skills to the Agape Family Shelter and was a volunteer with the Lebanon Rescue Mission. He was an avid gardner who was a "good neighbor" by sharing his produce to all. He enjoyed the history of the Civil War and attended many youth sporting events. He was a "Great Family Man" who lived for his family and very proud of his son, David.
He influenced many lives by his example and was a mentor to a 12 year old boy.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Betty J. Wentzel Eiceman of Lebanon; son, David J., spouse of JoAnn Eiceman of Lebanon; and grandsons, Jonathan and Daniel Eiceman, to whom Dale was called "Buddy".
Memorial services on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at 11 a.m., in St. John's United Church of Christ, 931 Willow Street, Lebanon, PA 17046. Private burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
