Vincent was born February 23, 1947 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Jesse Brown and Willie Wanda Brown. He was a 1971 graduate of Auburn University and served his country in the United States Air Force. He will be remembered as a loving and generous man. He was a family man who enjoyed spending quality time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Vincent was preceded in death by his brother, J. D. Brown and his sister-in-law, Melba Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of 49 years, his two daughters, his precious granddaughters, his two brothers, his sisters, a sister-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11:30 AM, prior to the service at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Libby's Light Shines, Inc., 301 Glencoe Way, Dothan, Alabama 36305, helping Wiregrass area children and families currently battling childhood cancer or the charity of your choice.
