Patsy Ackerman, age 85, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Patsy was born November 27, 1935 in Aurora, Nebraska to Elma Deal and Lyle Deal. The family relocated to Nevada where Patsy would graduate from Basic High School in Henderson. Patsy met and married Rex Ackerman. Together they had four daughters.
Patsy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family, caring for her home, and playing solitaire on her computer. She also liked tending to her garden, collecting toy tether cars and flying remote controlled air planes.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Rex; father, Lyle Deal; and mother, Elma Deal. She is survived by her daughters: Kathrine Taylor; Jeanne Savalli; Linda Shafer; and Marlane Brown; grandchildren: Karianne Siegle, Brian Taylor, Richard Shafer, Jerry Shafer, Jimmy Shafer, Jason Jenkins, Krista Taylor, Loren Jenkins; and great grandchildren Ashlee Siegle, Aaron Siegle, Adrian Siegle, Jordan Callis-Shafer, Hayden Shafer, Caleb Shafer, Jeremy Shafer, Savannah Shafer, James Dean Shafer, Aliyah Daniels, Joseph Jenkins, and Rylee Taylor-Utler.
A visitation for Patsy will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM, both at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary.
Patsy will be laid to rest at Palm Henderson Cemetery.
