RENSSELAER - Mrs. Helen T. Whitford, who was a library aide for the Rensselaer City Library for 27 years, died Sunday at Albany Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Whitford, of Woodland Avenue, was 66. Born in Albany, Mrs. Whitford was a lifelong resident of Rensselaer. Mrs. Whitford was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Survivors include her husband, David G. Whitford; two sons, James Whitford of Clifton Park and Robert Whitford of Rensselaer; three daughters, Terri Zobre of Poughkeepsie, Judith Ann Whitford and Deborah Dwyer, both of Rensselaer; two brothers, Dominick Carlow and Paul Carlotti , both of Rensselaer; three sisters, Carol Jake Carlati of Rensselaer, Jennie Tagliento of Clifton Park and Anna Rodino of Troy; and nine grandchildren. Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., followed at 9:30 at St. Joseph's Church where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
