Donald G. Kassner, age 95, of Two Rivers, died Friday, November 19, 2021, at home.

Donald was born April 15, 1926, in Kewaunee County, a son of the late Stanley and Mary (Meyer) Kassner. Don graduated from high school and then served in the U.S. Navy from February 24, 1945 to July 22, 1946. On May 30, he married Marie F. Dorner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Luxemburg. She preceded him in death on November 20, 2017. Don was a sales manager at Hamilton Industries for 45 years until his retirement. In his retirement years he enjoyed working at Architectural Forest Products. He enjoyed woodworking, working in his yard and was always willing to help family and friends.

Survivors include his children: Mary Belcher of Denver, Colo., Robert Kassner and his partner, Judy Johnson of Scottsdale, Ariz., David and Colleen Kassner of Ketchum, Ida. and Lee and Kim Kassner of Two Rivers; his grandchildren: Kendall (Brian) Vogel, Logan (Jo) Kassner, Grady Kassner, Lane (partner, Nicole) Kassner, Drew (Dani) Kassner and Cassie (R.J.) Draper; and great grandchildren: Joseph and Caden Vogel and Mason Kassner. He is further survived by a brother: Richard Kassner and brother-in-law: Jake Dorner; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a son: Todd Kassner; a son-in-law: Allen Belcher; his brothers and sisters; and his in-laws.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
