JOHN A. PATTI SR., was born Oct. 17, 1922 in OH., and died Jan. 9, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV., where he resided for the last seven years. John was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ann; brothers George, Steve, Joe and Arpad; and sister, Elizabeth Magyar. He is survived by his wife, Rheta Ahola Patti; sons John Jr. (Suzzane) of Medina, OH., Kim (Denise) of Spring Hill, FL.; and daughters, Heidi Sayre of North Ridgeville, OH., and Robin (Larry) Leeson of Cleveland. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; sisters Mary Egley of Solon, OH., Helen (Ernie) Szolnoky of Chagrin Falls, OH., and Margaret Sharkey of Annandale, VA.; and four stepchildren, Mark (Michelle) Ahola of Brook Park, OH., Jeff Ahola of Broadview Hts., OH., Marja Ahola of Sagamore Hills, OH., and Scott Ahola of Solon, OH. John served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 at Westview Cemetery in Brunswick, OH.
