Elaine was born on May 28, 1927 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Scheurell) Horstketter. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1945. On May 13, 1950 she married Robert N. Bolle at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on December 28, 2004. Elaine worked for the Manitowoc County Historical Society and volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul.
Survivors include ten children: Craig (Joan) Bolle, Marilee (Jerry) Miller, Julie (Dave) Schroeder, Bob Bolle, Jeanne Bolle, Linda Pitz, Cheryl (Rick) Warrens, Gary (Laurie) Bolle, Christine (John) Hollman, Connie (Bruce) Byom; 40 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and sisters-in-law: Joan Horstketter, Manitowoc, and Mary Horstketter, Houston, TX. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one infant daughter: Judy Bolle; two sons: Ron and Bill Bolle; one son-in-law: Erich Pitz; one grandson: Alex Schroeder; and four brothers: Joseph Horstketter, Walter Horstketter, Jr, Eugene Horstketter, and James (Mona) Horstketter.
Funeral Services for Elaine and her son, Bill, will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Ave.), Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain, assisted by Fr. Jose Lopez, with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
