Like his older brothers, Charles and Nathan, Aaron attended Lincoln University, graduating in 1885. He earned his degree from Penn Law School in 1888, writing a thesis on the unconstitutionality of laws against miscegenation. In 1890, he married Mary Louise Tanner; they had three children together. Aaron practiced law in Lockport and Philadelphia before leaving his family behind in Philadelphia in 1899. He moved to Great Britain, where his father's obituary says he was working as a mining engineer. He died in Cardiff, Wales, in 1951.
