Margaret M Kerr, 73, of Oak Forest, daughter of the late Samuel and Malinda Ann Garrison Kerr, died Thursday, Jan 8, 1948, at 4:15 pm at her home. She was born Oct 2, 1874 in Jefferson Township and spent most of her life in Western Greene County. Surviving are one son, William Kerr, Oak Forest; a foster son, Robert Kerr, Chillicothe, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Elijah Knight, and Mrs. Pay Jones of Waynesburg, RD 6; Mrs. Earl Spraggs, Oak Forest; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers, James Kerr, Nettle Hill; George Kerr, Charles, Kerr and Rex Kerr, all of Waynesburg;, RD 4; Edward Kerr, West Finley, RD 1; two sisters, Mrs. Annabelle Morris, Swissvale and Mrs. A S Lemmon, of Garrison. She was a member of the Bethany Methodist Church.
