Herschel Holman Chenoweth, age 78, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on November 24, 2021, at Hillcrest Health and Rehabilitation Center in Prescott. He was born in Honolulu, HI on August 20, 1943, the son of Herschel H. & Hannah Olsen Chenoweth, Sr. Herschel was a 1961 graduate of Kamehameha High School and a 1980 graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington. He worked for A T & T in Dallas for thirty years where he was a project manager. Herschel was a United States Navy veteran having served in Vietnam. He was a Master Mason of the Grand Lodge of Texas and a member of Third Street Baptist Church, serving on the Golden Agers and the Donut & Maintenance committees. Herschel's hobbies included handyman work around the house, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.



Herschel is survived by his wife, Becky Willis Chenoweth, of Arkadelphia, his daughter, Courtney Dainty (Mike) of Bryan, TX, his son, Ryan Chenoweth (Susan) of Conroe, TX, stepson, Todd Dudley of Kyle, TX, two sisters, Lyzette Barkley (Ron) of Denison, TX and Leilani Carlsward (Ron) of Waialua, HI, his brother, Guy Chenoweth (Gina) of Anchorage, AK and four grandchildren, Cade, Emily and Ethan Chenoweth of Conroe, TX and Taylor Dudley of Round Rock, TX.
