Deborah " Debbie " Marsh, age 71, passed away November 16, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born in Indianapolis to Leon Cottongim and June B. Lawson Cottongim on March 7, 1950.
After graduating from Arsenal Technical High School, Class of 1968, she lived her life in Indianapolis. She was in the banking industry working for AFNB, Bank One and Chase Bank in various capacities. Debbie currently worked at Dungarvin Indiana and enjoyed helping people with disabilities. Debbie attended Westminster Presbyterian Church, liked to cook and baking was a specialty along with an occasional visit to a casino.
She is survived by a daughter, Drew Kathleen Marsh; brother, Frank Cottongim and wife, Darlene; and sister-in-law, Margaret Cottongim; and many nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Eugene Marsh (2011) who she was introduced to by longtime friend Deborah Lane; son, David Edward Marsh (1989); and brothers, Daniel, Stephen and Robert Cottongim. She will be missed by her friends and family.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hendryx Mortuary, Cumberland Chapel - 11636 East Washington St, Indianapolis. Graveside ceremony will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
