During Marie's early years she loved bowling, golfing, cooking, camping and spending time with her family. Spending weekends and summers with her family up at Way Dam was something she cherished. Marie loved to cook and catered for many years. If you knew Marie, you had a lifelong friend who would help out in a second if you were in need. She had a great sense of humor, even if it was at her own expense. She knew how to laugh, how to love, and how to give and we were so very blessed for having her as long as we did.
Marie is survived by her husband, Dale Hicks of Kingsford; her children, Brenda (Joe) Mlinar of Appleton, Twyla Zeman of Clearwater, FL, Brian LaVigne of Felch, Tiana Rosenfeldt of Appleton, Stephen LaVigne of Appleton and Scott LaVigne of Clearwater, FL; Grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jason, Brandon, Kristofer, Kalyn, Sunnie, Ryley, Mitchell, Sara, Anna, Nick, Zachary; Great grandchildren, Jameson, Stella, Mason, Avery, Raegan, and Aiddan; brothers, Lester (Betty) Paquin of Utica, MI, Ted (Sylvia) Paquin and Randy Paquin all of Iron Mountain; sisters, Sheila Walters of Horn Lake, MS and Rochelle Short of Kingsford; she is further survived by her special friend, Alice and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
