Lorenzo B. Dragon
Northampton – Lorenzo B. Dragon of 263 Maple St., Holyoke formerly of this city, died Friday in Holyoke Hospital. He was born here and was employed as a landscape gardener at the Leeds VA Hospital until he retired. He was one of the last local survivors of the Spanish-American War and was past commander of Wesley S. Brass Camp, United Spanish War Veterans. He also was a member of the Cercle Rochambeau Cub of Holyoke. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Luna (Billings) Dragon; three sons; two daughters; a sister, Miss Anna Dragon of this city; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the Reynolds Northampton funeral home Monday at 8.15, with a requiem high mass in Sacred Heart Church at 9. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are today and Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.
