HEALDTON -- Services for Eva Shrader, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Reser Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Hurshel Baker officiating. Interment will be at Mount Olive Cemetery.

Mrs. Shrader died April 16, 1997, in the local hospital after an extended illness. She was born Sept. 24, 1909, at Graham, to Lory and Estelle Huckaby McLain.

A resident of this area most of her life, she married Odis Shrader March 21, 1928, in Healdton, and lived in California in the early 1960s before moving back to Healdton 30 years ago. She had been a waitress for many area restaurants, including Opal's Cafe.

She is survived by four grandchildren, whom she raised, Treva Fleischmann, Houston, Robin Garza, San Antonio, Twyla Throneberry, Lone Grove, and Shane Dunn, Indonesia; a sister, Lena Soulier, Sacramento; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987; and a daughter, Jerry Dunn, in 1982.

Bearers will be Alan Throneberry, Buddy Schofield, Gene McLain, Denny, Dub and Ken Griffin.
