The funeral services of Mrs. John Axcell were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Swedish Baptist church.
Mrs. Axcell died Wednesday afternoon at her home, 417 North Santa Fe, of dropsy, after a long and tedious illness. Mrs. Axcell was 62 years old and had spent her entire life in Chanute, coming here direct from Sweden with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, six sons and a daughter.
