Regina Vernell Allen-Babbitt, 61, of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Regina was born on March 25, 1960 in Beloit. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1978. Regina was employed as a caregiver at various nursing homes in the Beloit area. She previously had been employed at Swiss Colony in Monroe, Wisconsin and at Beloit Bread Company. Regina attended Fountain of Life Tabernacle Holiness Church in Beloit under the leadership of Pastor Lawrence Hoskins. She was a member of W.B. Kennedy Eastern Star in Beloit, loved listening to Charlie Wilson music and cooking Sunday dinners for her family. Regina is survived by her mother; three sons; grandchildren; great-grandson; sister; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; along with numerous extended family members and friends to numerous to mention. She was preceded in death by her father, Reverend Curtis Allen Sr; son; Charles Babbitt Jr; sister, Judy Tucker; and brother, Curtis Allen Jr. Services are 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 10, 2021 at Beloit Life Center, 2170 Murphy Woods Road, Beloit, Wisconsin 53511 with Elder Sherrick Anderson of Higher Ground Christian Center, Beloit, Wisconsin officiating. Viewing and visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Committal at Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit will follow the services.
