Dewey Abell CHARLESTON Dewey F. Abell, 73, of Charleston died at 1:50 p.m. Friday (July 23, 1993) at St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood, Mo. Graveside service is at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kickapoo Cemetery south of Charleston. No visitation is planned. Caudill-King Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Dec. 28, 1919, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of George W. and Annah C. Webb Abell. He is survived by his mother, Annah C. Kefalinos and a half-brother, William Abell, both of Dumas, Texas. Mr. Abell was a WWII veteran. He was employed at Booth Library at Eastern Illinois University.
