McCrea Beckett
1928 - 2021
Passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 1, 2021. She was 92 years old. Born on December 12, 1928, she was the last of 13 children born to the late John & Ruth Fenwick of Potomac Beach, VA. In 1958 she married Walter (Bill) Beckett and resided in Pasadena MD, they were married for 63 years until his passing on April 1, 2021. She was a long time member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pasadena, MD. She is survived by her son Walter Gary Beckett, Daughter in law Deborah J Beckett, 4 grandchildren (& their spouses): Amber Kurtz, Hunter Weedon, Jennifer Palazzo, Christina Weedon and 4 step grandchildren (& their spouses): Renae Lloyd, Jay Jordan, Gary Keats, Jessica Keats, and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters, her husband Walter (Bill) Beckett and son Linwood Weedon. A memorial service for McCrea and her Husband Walter (Bill) Beckett will be held on Wednesday July 14 at 11:00 A.M. at Glen Haven Memorial Park 7231 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie MD. 21061 In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to: Emanuel Lutheran Church, 8615 Ft Smallwood Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 or to the National Dementia Society, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901
