Mother: Sophie Mary Erazmus (1905-1967)
Mr. James E. Angers age 84 of Grand Rapids walked through the gates of heaven on Thursday December 2, 2021.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years Francene Angers (Walkowiak); his children Cheri Doyle, Michelle Angers, Jeannine (Robert) Angers, Timothy (Anne) Angers; his grandchildren Francene (Steve) Ball, Nicole (Brad) Budzynski, Jenni (Kohl) Tyrell, Valisa (Nick) Grueser, Jessi (Nathan) Floyd, Meagan (Ben) Conrad, Autumn Angers, TJ (Alyssa) Angers, Jake Angers, Lester, Dale, Julie Ash; great grandchildren Wyatt and Spencer Ball, Dustin and Brenna Budzynski, Kohlton, Haven and Rylan Tyrrell, RJ and Jackson Grueser, James, Elsie and Luke Floyd, Hunter and Hayley Conrad, Lewis and Lydia Angers, Fisher and Gwen Angers, and Wesley Ash; his sister Joan Hamaker; several nieces and nephews; and his little buddy Toby.
He was preceded in death by his son Jim Angers, his son in law Jim Doyle and his brother Spencer (Jeanne) Angers. James served his country in the U. S. Navy.
The Mass of Christian will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Church where he will repose one hour prior to the Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW where the Rosary will be prayed Monday at 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Educational Foundation.
