Frank Joseph Dingell, a former U.S. Federal Court clerk in Detroit, died in Highland Park (Michigan) General Hospital in 1959. Born Frank Joseph Dzieglewicz on January 1890 in St. Joseph, Missouri, he married Teresa Joanna Stobar and they had six children. He held numerous positions in the U.S. government before retiring in 1958, including deputy United States Marshal. He also served with the Federal Housing Administration and the Treasury Savings Bond Division. His brother was U.S. Congressman John David Dingell Sr.
