Alberta Lou Irwin, 92, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away Tuesday November 30, 2021 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be 10 am Wednesday December 8, 2021 at the Tonganoxie Christian Church. Visitation will be 9-10 am prior to the funeral service at the church.
Alberta was born December 28, 1929 in Danville, IL the daughter of Frank and Irene (Lemmons) Patten. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Phillip Stevens in Tonganoxie for over 30 years. She was united in marriage March 1, 1947 in Danville, IL to William B. Irwin. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2008.
Survivors include; two sons, one sister, 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by a dear friend who was like a daughter to her.
