She was born in Sheffield, England, August 23, 1894, a daughter of John and Anna Gowland Ainley. She was married in 1915 to George Morrie of LaFayette, who preceded her in death. They were the parents of two children, E. Clifford, of Castle Rock, Wash., and Mrs. Marie Phelps of Kewanee, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was later married to Ross Miller in Kewanee, Sept. 21, 1946, who survives. Also surviving are four stepsons, Roscoe R., of Lakeland, Fla, Dean P. of Tucson, Ariz., Kenneth E. of Kewanee and Raymond E. Miller of Aurora; one step-daughter, Beverly J. Cogan of Kewanee; eighteen step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, two brothers, Albert of Wyanet and Leonard Ainley of Kewanee and a sister, Mrs. Zeda C. Reiff of Kewanee. Also, a number of nieces and nephews. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose and World War II Mothers.
Services were held at the Creamer Funeral Home in Kewanee with Rev. Walter Theobald officiating. Burial was in the LaFayette Cemetery.
