Services for Mrs. Jennie Wilkinson, 84, lifelong resident of Stark County were held at the Kidd Funeral Home in Toulon.
Mrs. Wilkinson died Thursday night, Oct. 22, at the Elm Haven Nursing Home in Elmwood where shehad resided the past few months.
Rev. Eugene Anderson, pastor of Toulon Baptist Church, officiated.
Body bearers were Charlie Morrell, Kewanee, Lester Morrell and John Crow, Toulon, Eldon Meaker, LaFayette and Leonard Stacker and Dale Hollis, Wyoming.
Burial was in the LaFayette Cemetery.
Jennie Elizabeth Jackson, was born in Goshen Township, Stark County, Sept. 22, 1880 the daughter of John and Susan Frail Jackson. She attended the Ham School and Kewanee High School.
She was married Dec. 24, 1913, at Peoria to Everett Wilkinson and they lived in Stark County all of their married lives. They farmed near Wyoming until 1935 when they moved to their farm southwests of Toulon. He died Oct. 8, 1935.
A nephew, Newton P. Wilkinson, of near Toulon, two grandsons, Thomas and John Wilkinson, several cousins and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Thomas Jackson, two half-brothers and three half-sisters.
Mrs. Wilkinson was a member of the Royal Neighbors lodge for 65 years and was one of the charter members of the lodge in Stark County.
