Charles Wesley, son of T. R. and Sarah Elizabeth Cornwell, was born in Melrose Township, Clark County, June 27, 1883, and departed this life December 10, 1959, at his home, at the age of 76 years, 5 months, and 13 days.

He was united in marriage to Eva Wells who preceded him in death. On March 24, 1936, he was married to Esther Strohm. To this union were born four children.

He was a loving father and companion and a good neighbor and will be missed from this community.

Many years ago he was converted and was a member of the Melrose church at the time of his death.

In the last days of his suffering, he assured his companion, who had so tenderly cared for him that all was well with his soul and slipped away to meet his Maker.

He leaves to mourn his going, a companion, three daughters, Reta Jean Cutrell of Charleston, Carol Ann and Hilda Faye at home, one son Lowell Lee, also at home, one grandchild Charles Frederick, two brothers, Roscoe and Ezra Cornwell, sever nieces and nephews and many friends.

Interment was in Medsker Cemetery.

We wish to express our sincere appreciation to all our neighbors and friends for their kindness and help during the illness and death of our husband and father. May God bless you.

Mrs. Esther Cornwell and Family
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Cutrell and Son.
