Honorable, kind and gentle father to Stephen (Teresa), Kelley (Toby) Simers and Michael. Cherished grandfather to Lauren and Lindsey Campbell, Erik and Morgan Simers.
He is survived by two brothers, Jim and Ben Campbell, and one sister Betty Cash.
John dedicated his latter years to the love and care of the residence of Bethesda Lutheran Group Home in Kirkwood, Missouri. Their care and well being was dear to him, and he loved them as cherished members of his own family.
Services: Visitation on Tuesday from 6—8 pm at BOPP Chapel 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood, Missouri. Visitation: Thursday December 20, 2007 at 11:00 am followed by Service at 12:00 pm at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home, 923 Hwy 65 N, Marshall, Arkansas 72650. Interment following Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Marsena, Arkansas.
