Mrs. Money dies August 9 after lengthy illness

Last rites for Mrs. Annie Laurie Marshall Money were conducted Saturday, August 11 from the Carrollton Methodist Church. Rev. B. C. Nunn officiated. Mrs. Money passed away August 11 at her residence in Carrollton after a lengthy illness. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Carrollton under the direction of Lee Funeral Home.

Mrs. Money was born in Carroll County October 29, 1875 and was married to the late John Clarke Money. She was a member of the Carrollton Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Annie Bell Money Triplett, Owensboro, Kentucky, two sons, John Marshall Money, Columbus, Ga., and Percy Hill Money, formerly of the Winona Times and Conservative, Winona; and one brother, F. L. Marshall, Carrollton.

Pallbearers were J. L. Scruggs, Percy Bryan, B. F. Johnston, H. H. Lott, Fisher Sanders, and J. M. Watson.
