She was born August 4, 1946 in Odessa, Texas to Francis LaValley and Wanda Mae (Vance) Cooper. In 1977, William "Bill" Odom, Jr. and Carol Ann Cooper were married in Richmond, Texas.
Carol Ann was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Pampa. She was a proud homemaker and loved to play Wahoo and tennis. She also hand crafted hair bows and hair barrettes. In her younger years, she was a Candy Striper that volunteered at a hospital. According to her husband, she was a great wife, mom and grandmother...."Best wife ever".
Preceding her in death was a daughter, Judy Davis; a son, "C.J." Coy Jackson, Jr.; her parents, Frank and Wanda Cooper and her parent-in-laws, "Dub" and Beth Odom.
She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory is her husband, Bill, (they were married 44 years); 2 daughters: Sherry K. Miles and husband Adam of Skellytown, Texas and Shaye Sandburn of Alexandria, Louisiana; 2 brothers: Mike Cooper and wife Kay of Paris, Texas and Frankie Cooper of San Antonio, Texas; a sister -in-law, Debbie Knight of Shepherd, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, 206 W. 1st Street, Borger. Services will be officiated by Brother Bob Hudson, Bible Baptist Church of Pampa. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery of Pampa.
The family will welcome friends for visitation Monday, December 13, from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, 206 W. 1st Street, Borger.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
