Dave enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, road trips and 50's music. Growing up in Cherokee, Dave spent much of his youth at his father's Buick dealership, where he found his lifelong passion for all things cars. David was also the co-founder of Furniture Place currently known as Carey's Furniture.
Dave is survived by his loving wife Carol, children; Julie Bradstreet, Kevin Carey, Trudy (Chad) Pederson, Chad (Kelli) Carey, Jay (Lindsey) Carey, Rick Mattioda, 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
