Evelyn Louise (Carrico) Moore, 80, of Cumberland, IN, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 7, 2021. She was born on October 13, 1941 to William Roscoe Carrico and Esther Lucile (Summers) Carrico in Indianapolis, IN. She graduated from St. Mary's High School. She met William Leonard Moore who she married on April 23, 1960, and she shared her life with him for over 55 years. Evelyn was employed as a Banquet Waitress for over 37 years, rising to Banquet Captain at the Indianapolis Convention Center. She was involved in her church, particularly co-instructing a woman's bible study. She is survived by two daughters, Beth Ann Shriner (Brian) and Julie Salverian (Dirk), two sons, William Moore and Jeffery Moore (Diane), grandsons Ross Moore (Christina) and Alex Salverian, granddaughter Megan Salverian, great-grandson Chase Moore, great-granddaughter Madison Moore, and niece Barbara Jensen (Jim). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Joseph Carrico, and sisters Loretta Green, Betty Obergfell, Mary Ann Herbert and Marie Rader. Visitation for Evelyn will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Wallace Street Evangelical Church, 4805 East 10th St, Indianapolis, IN 46201, from 10:00 a.m. to12:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the church, with a luncheon to follow.
