Anna G. "Nancy" Bailey, 92, of Clearfield, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Knickerbocker Villa. She was born on February 14, 1929 in Hann-Munden, Germary the daughter of the late Fritz and Luise (Rudolph) Wiezowicki. On January 26, 1952 she married Glenn T. Bailey, Sr. in Hann-Munden, West Germany, he preceded her in death on January 31, 2003. Anna worked for various businesses in downtown Clearfield. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clearfield. She enjoyed carpentry work, sewing, cooking, camping, boating, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. Anna is survived by her four children: Nancy Gallagher and her husband John of Collegeville, PA, Geraldine Bailey-Rhodes of Clearfield, Pa, Carol Hohnka and her husband Lewis of Fredericksburg, VA and Glenn T. Bailey Jr. and his wife Sharon of Bigler, PA; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; she is also survived by two sisters: Erika Schiefer of Hanover, Germany and Siegrid Luchert of Kassel, Germany; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by a son, William C. "Bill" Bailey; two brothers: Hans Jurgent and George Wiezowicki; four sisters: Inge Pache, Johanna Kuhn, Irmgard Winter and Lisa Roddert. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 10-12pm at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. A funeral service will follow at 12pm with Rev. Randy Hughes officiating.
