Lorinda Kathryn (Rider) VanBuskirk Geddes, 80, of Wylie, Texas, departed this life on May 4, 2022, after a 1 ½ year battle with cancer.

She was born in Syracuse, New York on April 12, 1942 to the late George Price Rider and Anna Marie (Klensch) Rider.

Lori was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping, traveling, fishing and working on her genealogy in her spare time.

She left behind her husband James Michael Geddes, three children, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and her only sibling. She was also survived by two stepdaughters, six step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and her former husband.
