"Raymond F. Hemenway, 70, of 5509 North Bennington, Kansas City, North, died yesterday at Veterans hospital. He was born in Sedalia, Mo., and lived here 61 years. Mr. Hemenway was a laundryman and a member of the Teamsters union local No. 586. He was a World War I Army veteran. Mr. Hemenway was also a member of the Northeast Memorial post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, East Gate Masonic lodge, and Budd Park Christian church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alma Hemenway of the home; and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Bales of 2907 Englewood terrace, Independence, and Mrs. H. C. Fenno of St Louis."
