Ralph T. Miller, 84, of Grassflat, died at Tyron Hospital Monday (Oct. 5, 1992) at 10:06 p.m.
A Protestant, Mr. Miller attended school in Black Moshannon and Black Oak, Julian RD. He retired from General Refractories after 21 years of service.
Born in North Philipsburg on June 27, 1908, he was raised by his grandparents, the late Charles and Mary J. Miller. On April 14, 1934, he married the former Minnie Beatrice DeArmitt, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters: Genevieve Murph of Walthourville, Ga., Josephine Cheskey of Winburne and Paul Knepp of West Decatur; four sons: Carl T. of Clarence, Ralph J. of Winburne, Charles W. of Grassflat and W. Maynard of La Quinta, Calif.; a sister: Minnie Newman of Bellefonte, 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no public visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home Inc., Grassflat.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
