INA BELLE YOUNG
---Mrs. Ina Belle Young was a daughter of Sheridan and Effie Bragg Shumaker. She was born December 8, 1894 and died at the age of forty-four years, six months and nine days on May 17, 1939.
---She was married to Elmer Young on August 19, 1915. To this union nine children were born, Fern, Mrs. May McGandy, Gladys, Cleo, Edna, Mable, Ruth, Floyd and Irese. One infant died at birth; one grandson, Lester Young.
---Besides her family she leaves Mr. and Mrs. P.S. Shumaker and son, Roy of La Plata, Mrs. Hazel Thompson of LaCrosse, Forest, Donald, John, Edith and Leota
Shumaker and Mrs. Alta Lankford of Michigan, Howard Shumaker of San Diego, California and Mrs. Esther Wortman of Arkansas.
---Funeral services were held Friday, May 19, at the McCollum Funeral Home, Rev. Hartwick of Elmer Pentecostal Church was the minister.
---She is buried in Shumaker cemetery near Kirksville with her parents.
