On November 14, 1964 he was united in marriage to Kay Kasal at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Stanley had a dairy products route for 5 years and a bulk milk route for 15 years, both for Lake to Lake. He was an insurance agent for 25 years and later worked for Ameriquip for 7 years until his retirement in 2004. During that time he was also involved with the Holy Trinity Men's Club, Kiel Jaycees, serving as President and State Director and the Manitowoc Expo Board, serving as it's treasurer for 10 years. In his free time he also coached Little League and Softball in School Hill for 20 years.
On June 3, 2006 Stanley was given the Gift of Life when he received a heart transplant. He was able to see his family grow and be involved in their activities for the past 15 years because of this gift.
Survivors include his wife; Kay, his children; Mary Beth (Tristan) Richards, ME, Steve Binversie, Little Chute, Tom (Brenda) Binversie, Sheboygan, John (Sarah) Binversie, School Hill, Paula Binversie, Belgium, Kathy Binversie (Doug Dahm), Elkhart Lake, Kevin Binversie, Sheboygan, MSgt Kurt (Melanie) Binversie, Okinawa, Japan, Kraig (Mary) Binversie, School Hill, son-in-law; Bill (Laurie) Heckmann. Also survived by his 15grandchildren; Alastair, Graham, Natalie, Elizabeth, Lauren, Ryan, Savannah, Wyatt, Henry, Leah, Weston, Piper, Bryce, Addisyn and Kaleb. Further survived by his brother; Robert Binversie, sisters; Irene Ziegelbauer and Janet Seichter and sister -in-law; Fay Binversie along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Laurie Heckmann, son; Wayne Binversie, sisters; Dolores (Lester) Klingeisen, Leona (George) Ziegelbauer, Virginia (Dean) Brennan, brothers; Roman, Eugene, Herman (Florence) Binversie, sisters-in-law; Janet and Catherine Binversie, brothers-in-law; Jim Ziegelbauer and Gordon Seichter.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill at a later date. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Stanley's family would like to thank the staff of Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for all the care and compassion given to Stanley and his family.
A memorial has been established for the School Hill Athletic Association and the American Heart Association.
