A native and life resident of Syracuse, Mr. Beckham attended Levy Elementary School. He was a ninth grade student at Nottingham High School.
Mr. Beckham was an aspiring artist. He was interested in sports, although he could not participate because of his heart condition.
Surviving are his mother, Lisa Durham and his father, John E. Beckham, both of Syracuse; one sister, Shonda Beckham of Syracuse; one brother, Anthony Beckham of Syracuse; his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Leroy Durham of Syracuse; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Erwin United Methodist Church, 920 Euclid Ave., the Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 9 p.m. today at Garland Bros. Funeral Home, 143 W. Castle St., Syracuse.
