A longtime resident of Three Rivers working for the National Park Service at Sequoia and retiring from the position of the supertendent's secretary. Vera was very active in the community, President of the Sierra Traditional Jazz Club and a member of the St. Clair's Catholic Mission. Vera was proceeded by her husband, Lawrence and one brother, Delbert Jones. She is survived by one son, Louis and one grand child Erin and several siblings.
