Raylene J. Fletcher-Gonzales of Elgin
Funeral services for Raylene J. Fletcher- Gonzolas, 59, will be held at 1 pm. Tuesday at the Laird Funeral Home, 310 State SL, Elgin, with Rev. Glen Mensing officiating.
Born August 26, 1940, in West Bend, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Mildred Kilbourn Banwart, she died Friday Dec. 31 1999, in Provena St. Joseph Hospital, Elgin. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
A resident of Elgin for the past 11 years she had been employed as a waitress at Spring Garden Restaurant in Elgin and was the owner of Bone's Bubles and More Craft store in Elgin.
Raylene also was a volunteer at the Heritage Manor in Elgin.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Gonzales; daughters, Frances (Glenn) Thompson of Sleepy Hollow and Vicky (Rich) Baxter of Elgin; sons, Billy (Nicole) Chapen of Cortland, Ill. and Raymond (Cynthia) Chapen of Sandwich, Ill- grandchildren, Sean and Mitchell Wolfert, Zachary Baxter, Ashley and Raymond Chapen; Alexander and Matthew Thompson and Nicole Chapen; Mother Mildred Banwart of Elgin; sister Geri (Robert) Mensing of Algonquin; brothers, Don (Carol) Banwert and Ron (Janet) Banwert, both of Elgin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Raymond Banwart.
