He married first in 1907 Elizabeth "Bessie" Buckner. Born to them were Leonard Lee 1909, Beverly H. (male) 1911, and William Eugene 1912. She found someone else while he was at war and they divorced 1920. He next married Irma Spain 1928, no children. They divorced in 1930. He next married Garnet Franklin 1932.
