"LINK" SHIFLEY DIED SUDDENLY
Lincoln Shifley, of Tennesee, a brother of Hugo Shifley, of Blandinsville, was found dead in his bed at his home on Sunday, November 3.
He had plowed on Saturday and went to Tennessee in the evening. He retired about 9 o'clock and seemed in his usual health. When his daughter, Miss Mabel, went to call him at 7 o'clock on Sunday morning, she found him dead. At the inquest the definite cause of his death was not determined. He leaves his wife and one daughter, Mabel, at home and four married sons. Six brothers are still living, one of them being Hugo Shifley, of Blandinsville.
