Carl Sigfried Anderson, 39, of Hopewell Junction, died in High­land Hospital, Beacon, on Sunday, April 25, after a short illness. Born in Cornwall on Jan. 2, 1904, a son of Carl August and Anna Forsblom Anderson, he had lived in Hopewell Junction for about 10 years and was a supervising farmer.

Besides his parents, he is sur­vived by his wife, Margaret; six sons, Charles, James, Robert, Har­ry, Leonard and David Anderson, all of Hopewell Junction; and a sis­ter, Lillian Anderson of Paterson.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon in Bevans Broth­ers' Funeral Home, Cornwall-on-Hudson, were conducted by the Rev. W. A. Burner of Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Friends Cemetery, Cornwall.
