She worked as a supervisor at service master after raising her children, which was her main job. Lorene was very independent, and always kept herself busy. She enjoyed flowers, especially roses and gardening. Lorene adored her family and loved spending time with them. Her sweet nature and loving heart will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Lorene is survived by her children, Robert Broesch (Carol) of Henderson, KY, and Roger Broesch (Geri), Sandra Ashby (Richard) and Ron Broesch (Cindy) all of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Christi, Michele, Derrick, Scott, Angela, Brandie and Kaara; 24 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, George Broesch, Jr. in 1952; a granddaughter, Lisa Viars in 1993; and 12 siblings.
A celebration of Lorene's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 with Brother Ray Yonts officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Published in Courier Press on Dec. 20, 2021.
