Thomas M. Montgomery, 81, died November 22, 1945 following a stroke. Funeral services were held at House Funeral Home in Mansfield with burial in Mansfield cemetery.

Mr. Montgomery was born May 2, 1864 at Olney and came to Piatt County when he was 15 years old. He has lived in Mansfield the past 50 years. He was married to Frances Hoover on August 15, 1889. She survives along with five children: Mrs. Bertha Thomas, Urbana; Mrs. Stella Junkert, Farmer City; Mrs. Hattie Curry, Mansfield; Fred of Chicago and Thomas of Catlin.
